About

I'm a journalist and filmmaker who has worked for leading international publications for more than a decade. I was a staff video journalist at The Economist in London from 2014 to 2019, before making films for Channel 4 and the BBC, and was an executive producer of podcasts at The Financial Times from 2020-2021. Prior to working in the UK, I worked as a freelance print and radio journalist in Poland from 2012 to 2014, covering politics, business and culture for international media, including The Economist and The Financial Times.

I made dozens of short films for The Economist on diverse subjects such as war crimes, France’s far-right, the Vatican’s diplomatic power, malaria vaccines, gay rights in Uganda, why we like to swear, Romania's last orphanages ... I could go on. I began my career producing television programmes in Ireland, including a one-hour film for RTÉ about people living with facial disfigurement and an award-winning feature documentary about aspiring boxers.

I take pride in writing, filming and editing great stories about big issues, interviewing people and delivering rigorous journalism. I also speak French, conversational Polish and Irish (Gaeilge).
